A prominent Bay Area hotel’s new loading dock.  New concrete stem walls, lifts and steel grates. 

Fires never occur at “the right time.”  But after a fire occurs is a great time to remodel.  This transition allows for you to turn a negative situation into a positive one.  Closing off openings and knocking down walls to create a more flowing space is fairly common when performing reconstruction.  This project knocked down a wall and closed off a door opening to create an open dining area and connect the kitchen to the family room.  Custom cabinets, granite slab fabrication, glass subway tile backsplash, built in appliances, recessed and under cabinet LED lighting bring this kitchen back to life.

Teak hardwood is a thing of beauty.  This house had teak flooring that was damaged due to a water leak throughout the home.  New cabinets, new granite countertops, new custom tile backsplash and new appliances finish off this project.

This repair required some of the kitchen cabinets to be rebuilt.  Using our custom cabinet maker to match the esisting, this repar turned out nicely.  New granite countertops and tile backsplash were installed as well.  The engineered hardwood flooring was continuous through out the first floor and had to be replaced.

Properties in proximity to the Bay are commonly fitted with cedar shake sidewall shingles. These two buildings were refaced with clear, Certigrade Red Cedar Shingles that are 100% edge grain, 100% all clear and 100% heartwood.

A new waterproofing membrane was installed at all the window ledges. Tar and gravel can now be a thing of the past with an aesthetically pleasing pedestrian traffic membrane. This membrane can also be installed in walkways, patios and balconies. Easy upkeep involves hosing the surface down occasionally. A great alternative to tar and gravel, redwood or composite decking.

Hall bathrooms don’t have to be boring. This one for instance is not your standard powder room. A standout feature, like this light, can bring some style and flair to an otherwise small space.
